Our hearts are united in supporting people who have to fight hard for justice in troubled homelands.
There was a poor boy
On the street
Walking
To find something to eat
Had only one penny
Nothing comes
With that money
Decided to knock on the door
To get some food
Always scared of people
Who are rude
But took the chance
Knocked one door
Girl showed up
Like an angel
Couldn’t ask for more
Only word came out of his mouth
Was, ‘Water’.
But the girl was smart,
Knew he had a hunger
Asked him to wait,
Brought him a big piece of bread
And a glass of milk
He was so happy
Ate all of them in one blink
Told angel
All I have is one penny
Or wait until I find work
I will bring you many
Angel looked at him and said,
Don’t worry
All is paid.
You have been suffering for a long time?
Boy said this life is not mine
Someone pass it to me
I will challenge and try
Never bend myself or cry
Every day is a new day
I live with the hope
Until I find the best way
On that day, I will stand high
That day is not just my day
All poor people will pray
For a revolution
And a chance for us to say,
And...
They can’t run away.
On that day
Poor people will judge
And will fight for change
They have no choice!
They have to answer
and pay.
On that day
I will remember
Your kind heart,
That piece of bread and milk
Thank you for this
You kept me alive
Another day
Helped me survive
Defend my dignity
So I can say
What I need to say.
